Urban Safari : Red Tail Hawk on Cummins

Across the way from us on Cummins Highway are a few tall evergreens. Every so often, a hawk would perch on the very top and survey the area looking for its next meal.

The RainyDayInterns noticed it today and shouted for someone to get the camera. We managed to get a few shots off before it took off after its dinner! The fact that a hawk can see a rabbit from two miles away should make the RainyDayInterns more than just a little nervous.
