Face Masks : FirstLook

It used to be that wearing a face mask was uncommon/unusual/unexpected.

Because of COVID-19, though, face masks have become a necessity until an effective biological solution to the virus has been found.

By now, most everyone knows that physical barriers like face masks and shields are not only for preventing the wearer from coming into contact with the virus, but for keeping the virus from spreading to others (you unbeknownst-to-yourself super-spreader you).

With cities and states trying to open and people starting/jonesing to venture out, there will be a sh!t-ton lot more interactions between humans. So RainyDay thought it timely to take a look at some non-disposable mask options.

NOTE: While none of the masks we looked at were “medical-grade,” nor did they make any claims to prevent infection or the transmission of viruses or diseases, face coverings are suggested by the CDC as a minimum step in helping slow the likelihood of the general spread of the COVID-19 virus. We are looking at reusable masks only, because one additional thing we definitely don’t need is more trash.
