Snailax Neck and Back Massager: FirstLook
Portable Shiatsu...with HEAT!!!
Doing physical work in the RainyDayGarden is hard on the neck and back, which is why we have interns. But working at a desk all day—which is what we do most days—is not all that great for the neck and back, either.
As a result, we are always interested in ways to relieve neck and back discomfort, whether it be a better chair, devices that help realign the body, or a way to convert what we sit on into a heated neck and back massager, which is what today’s article is about.
Snailax
One of our editors who’s had on-and-off knee pain for many years used the Snailax Cordless Knee Massager with Heat with unexpectedly good results (“unexpected” because she’s a bit of a curmudgeon and never really expects anything to work as described), so when Snailax asked if we were interested in trying another of their item from them, we chose something we are keenly interested in (and many of RainyDayMagazine readers have asked about)…a way to (help) relieve neck and back discomfort. Snailax willingly obliged and sent us their Shiatsu Neck & Back Heated Massager.
Details
The Snailax Shiatsu Neck & Back Heated Massager comes with a number of features, all of which are easily selectable via the corded controller:
- Kneading, Shiatsu, or rolling massage;
- Adjustable neck and back height;
- Four heated neck massage nodes;
- Vibrating seat cushion – sounds weird but it really loosens up that, uh, area;
- Integrated controller storage pocket.
FirstThoughts
The Snailax Heated Shiatsu Neck & Back massager feels well constructed: it has good fit and finish, the materials are comfortable to the touch, and the layout of the remote controller is logical (even though there are a lot of features, it’s not complicated to use).
We are eager to put this massager to the test!
What’s Next?
Besides all the massaging capabilities, another advantage of this Snailax massager is its portability: you can pretty much take it anywhere. While It was designed with a certain type of chair in mind, we are curious as to how well it will work with other types of seating…and we plan to find out 🙂
In our FirstUse report, we’ll tell readers about our user experience with the Snailax Neck and Back Massager, and whether the type of chair used with it will affect the experience.
Look for it later in the year 🙂
