Introducing…Reese the Kitten
...our new RainyDayIntern!!!
Two years ago, we lost both of our beloved RainyDayInterns within the span of a month.
Eliot and Milo lived good long lives and brought us a ridiculous amount of joy, companionship, and love. It was clear that it was time to let them go, but still, it was so, so hard (so hard that one of us writing these words is tearing up at the remembrance…).
We gave ourselves time to mourn, and didn’t feel bad or awkward or ridiculous about it. We didn’t try to fill the gap in our lives because we wanted to make sure we were not trying to rush it.
But after our recent, completely wonderful experiences with holiday cat-sitting, we knew it was time to bring a new kitten into the RainyDay office.
The debut of Reese the Kitten
Reese was adopted at 10 weeks old, deemed completely healthy by the City of Boston Animal Care and Control, and has been chipped and neutered. We picked him out of a box of three crazy-adorable sibling kittens: in the space of 3 nano-seconds (possibly parsecs), we knew he was the one.

“Oh, I like this lady very much. She lets me play with her hair, and then lets me cuddle in the warmest spot in the easy chair with her…”
We wish him a long healthy life in his new forever internship.
