2025: a year of all things related to…carving!!!
RainyDayTheme for 2025....Chisels, Dremels, and Laser Etchers. Oh My!!!
We have been doing RainyDay since 2005 (that’s TWO THOUSAND AND FIVE, people!!).
We have gone through a couple of evolutions since then, but we still adhere to our original reasons for RainyDay-ing:
- to challenge ourselves, and
- to provide information/activities we think would interest our readers.
As we have always stated, there are a lot of fantastic gear-review sites out there. We love reading them, but we aren’t exactly like them. For 2025. we are trying something different – each month we will write at least one post on the same theme/category (there will be more than one post per month, but at least one post per month will be on the same topic).
We hope our themed posts will continue to be:
- interesting for our readers,
- fun for the folks here at RainyDay, and
- provide a way for our sponsors to further connect with and promote to their target audiences.
And the 2025 RainyDayTheme goes to…
The 2025 RDM themed posts will be focused on “carving and carving-related things.” We plan to post at least one article a month related to some aspect of carving, whether it be tools, techniques, projects, etc.
Working with our hands has always been satisfying and rewarding, and with carving being the 2025 theme, we are looking forward to exploring a range of topics under that umbrella, develop some skills in that area, and let our creativity wander where it may…
Even if “carving things” does not appeal to you right off, we hope readers will still come along for the ride. We think you will find the tangents interesting, and maybe surprise yourself by wanting to know more.
Let us know what you think at the end of the year. Who knows, maybe we will even finish that CNC project we started oh so long ago!!!
