Urban Safari : FirstSnow 2010

First big storm of the season and it was a doozie. The snow was light and fluffy and the wind created some fairly good size drifts. Good thing we don’t have any plans for the next few days.

The birds were the only creatures out and about. After the interns went and filled the bird feeders, they really came out in force. It must be hard to find something to eat when there is fifteen inches of snow on the ground.
