Each coffee pod comes individually sealed in a foil pouch. The shape of the discs are the same as those used in other popular single cup machines (Senseo, Gevaliea, etc...).
Loading the discs was simple: just orient the shape to that of the disc holder and drop it on, lower the lid, and lock it into place by pressing the lever all the way down.
To start the brewing process, press the power button if the machine is not already on, select cup size, wait for "Ready" to appear on the blue display, then press the "Brew" button. The flow will start in a few seconds.
In less than a minute, we got a hot cup of freshly brewed coffee.
Clean up was just as easy. The used pod can be easily removed and discarded (dispos-all friendly). Just be careful since the parts can still be quite hot.
We love the simplicity of the machine, the speed of the brew cycle, and the taste of the coffee. We have not had a chance to try out all the different flavors, but you can be sure we will. For the final InTheWild report, we'll get samples of all the different coffees and let you know which ones made it onto our top five list. |
