Gear & Gadgets...

The Neverlate is a 7 Day alarm clock/AM-FM radio.  It is astounding that no one has thought of this until now :-)  Such a nice idea!

One would think it would be complicated programming a different alarm time for the different days of the week... not so.  The controls were easy to operate, gave nice tactile feedback, and were logically placed.

The inner most knob sets the "mode" (Run, Off, Alarm Day).  Use that to pick the day.  Time adjustments are made using the dark outer collar.  There are eight positive click stops.

Rotating the outer collar will change the time in either direction (up/down).  Rotating the collar faster will cause the time to jump in 10 minute increments.  Because of the positive click stop feedback, we found this to be much easier to use than the typical button interface.

Once the desired time is reached, pushing the on/off button to activate/deactivate the alarm for that day.  If for some reason all of the alarms should be deactivated (going on vacations???), just turn the big silver knob to "All Off".

2 AAA acts a battery back up for the programmed alarms should power be interrupted for any reason.

This 5" cube will be easy to fit into your room and your life.  Oh...and the radio is really nice too :-)

This Neverlate alarm clock was created by American Innovative.  Their tagline is "Products that make sense".

Looking at their first effort, we would say they are batting a 100%.

When I saw this product, I knew it would be perfect for my friend Geoff.  Geoff has a crazy schedule and is always looking for ways to optimize his time.

With the Neverlate, Geoff will finally be able to fine tune his wake up alarm schedule to parallel his various weekly morning meetings.
