Let me say upfront that I'm NOWHERE cool enough to wear these MP3 glasses :-)  However, I'm positive there are plenty of you out there that are.

I have pulled plenty of headphone off my head while messing with my iPod so I can see the benefits of this approach.  The Oakley folks seem to have really thought through the design.
